NORDBO L-Carnitine Synergy

L-Carnitine Synergy is a synergistic complex containing two forms of L-carnitine (acetyl-L-carnitine and L-carnitine L-tartrate) combined with choline, coenzyme Q10, AstraGin® extract, and vitamins B1, B6, and B12.

L-carnitine is an amino acid-like compound that occurs naturally in the body. Acetyl-L-carnitine is a fat-soluble form that crosses the blood-brain barrier. L-carnitine L-tartrate is a fast-acting and well-absorbed form.

Choline is a water-soluble nutrient similar to B vitamins. It naturally occurs in egg yolks and liver, for example, and is part of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. Choline promotes healthy liver function and normal fat metabolism in the liver.

Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a vitamin-like compound naturally found in mitochondria – the cells' "energy powerhouses." The body's own Q10 production decreases with age, which is why Q10 is a common ingredient in products supporting energy and healthy aging.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), and Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) support normal energy production and normal nervous system function.

AstraGin® is a patented botanical extract derived from astragalus and notoginseng. Studies show that AstraGin® can enhance the absorption of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals by supporting nutrient uptake in intestinal cells. It affects proteins on the intestinal surface (e.g., SGLT1 and CAT1), which are responsible for nutrient transport – resulting in better nutrient availability in the body.

When exercising, L-Carnitine Synergy is recommended to be taken before training. Amino acids are best absorbed on an empty stomach, but they can also be taken with food if your stomach is sensitive.
